Tropheus African Cichlids
Tropheus are colony cichlids and need to be in groups of 12 or more per species to avoid aggression issues. The bigger the colony the better success you will have with these species of African cichlids. We recommend a colony of 20-30 for best results!
Care:
Strict Herbivore diet. Spirulina veggie flakes works best. Feed light feedings 2 times a day. Use aquarium lights that are set on a timer. Water changes weekly are a must. Tropheus don't like changes, so keep everything on a routine schedule. Please do plenty of research on tropheus. Knowledge is always best to have great success!
