Tropheus African Cichlids
Tropheus cichlids are highly social, schooling cichlids that in the wild live in dense colonies. These colonies can contain 20 to dozens of individuals of one species of tropheus. In captivity aquarium setting we recommend a group of 15 or more to display their best colors, activity of schooling, and to have a happy colony of tropheus!
Care:
Strict Herbivore diet. Spirulina veggie flakes works best. Feed light feedings 2 times a day. Use aquarium lights that are set on a timer. Water changes weekly are a must. Tropheus don't like changes, so keep everything on a routine schedule. Please do plenty of research on tropheus. Knowledge is always best to have great success!
