Tropheus African Cichlids
Tropheus are schooling Cichlids, a colony of at least 15 individuals of 1 species is recommended to display their best colors, encourage natural schooling behavior, and reduce aggression. Smaller groups often fail to meet these needs as the fish mature, leading to stress, poor coloration, and increased territoriality.
Care:
Strict Herbivore diet. Spirulina veggie flakes works best. Feed light feedings 2 times a day. Use aquarium lights that are set on a timer. Water changes weekly are a must. Tropheus don't like changes, so keep everything on a routine schedule. Please do plenty of research on tropheus. Knowledge is always best to have great success!
